Bristrita (Romania)


Initial Situation

Daily approximately 9.000 persons travel between the regions of Subcetate and Valea Budacului respectively to reach the centre of Bistrita. However, only 50% of them use public transport. For comparison: in 1990 the number was still 75%.

Measures

Several specifically trained mobility experts informed employees of companies about the advantages of public transport. In addition, new and attractive possibilities to buy a ticket were developed, as well as raffles for everyone actively involved in the measures.
