ELTIS

ELTIS aims to support a practical transfer of knowledge and exchange of experience in the field of urban and regional transport in Europe and so help create a more sustainable living environment, one which provides greater accessibility and mobility to its inhabitants.

COMPETENCE

The main activities in the COMPETENCE Download Centre are the design and implementation of international and national training and know how transfer activities, the design of training materials and the implementation of case studies as part of a training-on-the-job-programme.

CIVITAS INITIATIVE

The CIVITAS Initiative helps cities to achieve a more sustainable, clean and energy efficient urban transport system by implementing and evaluating an ambitious, integrated set of technology and policy based measures.

EPOMM

EPOMM - European Platform on Mobility Management - is a network of governments in European countries that are engaged in Mobility Management (MM). They are represented by the Ministries that are responsible for MM in their countries. EPOMM is organised as an international non profit organisation with seat in Brussels.

UITP

International Association of Public Transport UITP is the world-wide association of urban and regional passenger transport operators, their authorities and suppliers. Located in Brussels and with over 2.000 members from nearly 80 countries, UITP seeks to promote a better understanding of the potential of Public Transport. It provides information, research and analysis on all aspects of Public Transport including infrastructure, rolling stock, organisation and management. It also lobbies on behalf of its membership with international institutions such as the EU, UN and OECD.

TRENDY TRAVEL

The objective of the TRENDY TRAVEL project is to achieve a major shift from the current travel behaviour that utilizes the personal car as the principal means of transportation towards more sustainable transportation modes, thereby ensuring substantial energy savings, considerable reduction of emissions and extensive cost savings.

BUSTRIP

The BUSTRIP project (Interreg) is uniquely positioned to show European cities how to deliver sustainable transport whilst generating economic growth.

ADDED VALUE

It is the aim of ADDED VALUE to add value to big investments and infrastructures made for alternative, energy saving transport modes, which are either already in place or are being planned and implemented during the project time. This is to be done by way of applying marketing methods, information and awareness campaigns to make better use of these infrastructures.

COMMERCE

The aim of COMMERCE is to increase the number and improve the quality of Mobility Plans that are developed by small and medium sized companies by providing tools and standards based on best practice across Europe. Mobility Plans are also known as Travel Plans and their development is a clear way of reducing commuter’s CO2 emissions.

TRAVEL PLAN

TRAVEL PLAN PLUS stands for "Travel Reduction Attainment Via Energy-efficient Localities PLANning". The project aims to deliver transport-sector energy savings by creating a new approach to site-based mobility management across Europe. It will see the concept of 'Local Travel Plan Networks' (LTPNs) - which can offer economies of scale in terms of resource availability and political influence over traditional organisation-focused travel plans.

Together on the move offers energy efficient transport trainings for adult immigrants through the development and promotion of "ready to use" teaching and raining materials for walking, cycling, public transport and greener car use especially for language teachers.
